Introduction

This blog post covers SMS sent using our SMS Master gateway to Vietnam. This article does not cover SMS sent using Android or any other SMS gateway.

Carriers

We support all carriers in Vietnam. We have direct connection to Vietnam carriers.
ProWebSms master gateway is able to send SMS reliably to the following carrier:

Vittel
Mobifone
Vinaphone
Gmobile
Vietnammobile

Sender ID

Sender is is the name that will be displayed on customer's smartphone when you send SMS.

To send with AlphaNumeric senders like for example (mycompany), senders have to be pre registered.

You need to have a company registered in Vietnam so that you can request a sender ID.
If you don't have a company registered in Vietnam then SMS will be sent using a numeric sender (fixed short-code)

In all cases, SMS template must be registered. A template can contain variables.

We take care of all these registration.

Also any messages sent to numbers on Do Not Call registry will be blocked and the registration will help to bypass the traffic filters and DNC.
